About Kube-Pak
Kube-Pak is a wholesale greenhouse in Allentown, New Jersey, owned and operated by the Swanekamp family for more than 50 years.
We grow under 865,000 square feet (20 acres) of gutter-connected, double-poly greenhouse, with another 6 acres of outdoor growing space. Spring brings plugs, bedding plants, hanging baskets and potted annuals and perennials. Fall brings hardy and flowering mums, and the holidays bring poinsettias.
Plugs and rooted cuttings are the heart of the business. In 1970 we built the world’s first automatic drum seeder, about fifteen years before one was sold commercially in the U.S. Every plug order is still custom grown to the customer’s schedule, and extra material goes into the Ready Bay each week.
The name comes from how we started: soil mix pressed into “kubes,” four kubes to a plastic “pak,” eight paks to a flat. The idea came from Europe. Today our own soil mixes and hydraulic presses turn out about 1,000 flats an hour.
We deliver by truck across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and customers are welcome to pick up at the greenhouse. We sell wholesale only. Call (609) 259-3114 to place an order.
